Plot these points on a coordinate grid, then connect the dots to see a picture:
A (-4, -2)
B (-4, 1)
C(-4, 2)
D (-2.5, 3)
E (4.5, -2)
F (3, -1)
G (4.5, -1.5)

I (-4, 1)
J (-1, -0.5)

Create your own picture on a coordinate grid and list the coordinates (in order). Post the list in the comments to give someone else a coordinate are challenge. Can you plot a picture from a classmate?
Often called “Father of Modern Mathematics”, Descartes gave us the Cartesian coordinate system of geometry.
