i think the civilization of Ghana is very interesting because the Wangaran Miners had a secret trading system that didn’t require the traders to talk to them. They also never revealed the area of their gold mines. They were very secret and shy to traders because they might have been captured.

Ghana was the most interesting to me becuase they had more gold then any other city. They wnated to trade for salt, even though they had a salt mine. After floods they would find gold every where!

I thought the story was very interesting…especially the “dumb bartering” and the way they traveled…it was very cool how things have changed.
